Description About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester / QA Analyst 3 (QA Lead) to support a high-impact project in Richmond, VA. This role is responsible for defining, managing, and executing the overall quality assurance strategy to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall QA and testing strategy across projects and releases
- Lead test planning, execution, and reporting across:
- Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing
- Develop and maintain:
- Test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices
- Coordinate QA efforts across internal teams and third-party vendors
- Ensure alignment between requirements, test coverage, and acceptance criteria
- Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution with development teams
- Establish QA standards, best practices, and governance processes
- Oversee test environments, test data preparation, and release readiness
- Provide risk-based testing insights and go/no-go recommendations for releases
Requirements Required Qualifications
- 5+ yearsof experience in software testing and quality assurance
- 2+ yearsof experience in a QA Lead, Test Lead, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding ofSDLC,Agile, and/orWaterfallmethodologies
- Hands-on experience withtest managementanddefect tracking tools
- Experience withautomated testing frameworks and tools
- Proven experience leadingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Experience working withinhealthcare environments
