Location: Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia preferred

Duration: 12 months+

Position Overview

We are seeking a Director-level technology leader to help guide enterprise application strategy and a significant Oracle ERP transformation initiative at Client, an EQT portfolio company.

This individual will work closely with the VP leading the ERP selection process and partner with Finance, Technology and external consulting teams. The role will be central to evaluating solutions, shaping technology decisions and establishing the foundation for a successful implementation.

The ideal candidate combines enterprise technology leadership, familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and strong business stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior leadership to define the ERP technology strategy, priorities and implementation roadmap.
Play a leading role in the Oracle ERP evaluation and selection process, assessing business fit, integration needs, technical considerations and implementation readiness.
Translate Finance and business requirements into clear technology recommendations and delivery priorities.
Guide decisions on application architecture, integrations, data migration, security and the future enterprise application landscape.
Coordinate internal teams, implementation partners and vendors to establish responsibilities, dependencies and delivery expectations.
Provide technology leadership through program planning and subsequent implementation phases.
Identify risks, communicate trade-offs and help stakeholders make timely, informed decisions.
Establish appropriate governance for solution decisions, scope, quality and operational readiness.
Communicate program progress and recommendations clearly to executive and business audiences.

Required Qualifications

Experience leading enterprise applications, business technology or ERP transformation initiatives at a senior management or Director level.
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and its role within a broader enterprise application environment.
Strong understanding of how enterprise systems support Finance and related business operations.
Ability to evaluate technology options and balance business requirements, cost, risk and long-term maintainability.
Experience managing senior business stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with consulting firms, implementation partners and technology vendors.
Ability to bring structure to evolving requirements and take ownership of complex technology decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous involvement in ERP selection, implementation or major application transformation programs.
Experience supporting global organizations and geographically distributed teams.
Exposure to private equity-backed businesses, infrastructure or data center environments.
Residence in the Washington, DC, Maryland or Virginia area.
