Position Summary

We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a strong backend foundation to build and operate data pipelines and ML-enabled services on Azure.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer with data engineering responsibilities

Hands-on experience with Azure services: Data Factory (ADF), MSSQL, Blob Storage, ADLS, Azure Machine Learning (AML), and Microsoft Foundry

Proficiency in Python backend development, with deep expertise in RESTful API design (FastAPI a plus)

Experience working with both structured and unstructured data

Proven track record of building automated pipelines that convert unstructured documents into structured datasets

Experience in Microsoft Foundry deploying LLM harnesses and agentic orchestration

Working knowledge of classical machine learning, with the ability to apply data engineering skills to operationalize prediction capabilities

Ability to configure strict data governance controls within an ML platform to ensure high-quality training data

What you'll be building

A Labor optimization platform that utilizes machine learning, LLMs, and computer vision to improve on-site capabilities and ensure our RFP responses are competitive and viable.
