Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for an On-site position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in North Haven, CT. This is a contract opportunity and will work onsite.
Compensation: $68.00 - $78.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview: As
Senior Project Manager within the Released Product Management (RPM) division, you will be steering the course to meet business needs while leading cost savings projects in the Core Surgical Innovations (CSI) Business Unit. This pivotal role will see you harmonizing and coordinating various initiatives within the RPM program and managing dependencies across projects. In close collaboration with Project Management, Released Product Engineering, Research & Development, Quality, Operations, and other cross-functional domains, you will drive the delivery of projects to our valued patients and customers.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets, and prepares status reports
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders.
DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS - Autonomy: Turns the department strategy into a commercial reality by developing, communicating and implementing business plans to achieve business results . Receives assignments in objective oriented terms; has latitude to reinterpret objectives.
- Organizational Impact: Initiates programs or projects based on identified business and / or tactical needs. Decisions impact projects or operations, affect the deadlines, resources, and funds, and the achievement of organizational objectives. Typically has budget or P&L accountability for a department, function or geography.
- Innovation & Complexity: Develops new objectives, new operating policies, products, processes and standards in support of the job function strategy. Problems and issues faced are complex, difficult and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem.
- Communication & Influence: Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors concerning ongoing operations, programs or processes. Influences across functions and businesses while balancing divergent objectives to gain cooperation of other parties . May interact on issues that have externally divergent objectives.
Primary Requirements: - Requires broad management knowledge to lead projects in one department
- Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function
- Requires a University Degree and minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
