-- Schedule = Monday - Friday / 8a-5p ET
-- Drug & Background required.

Pay Rate = $23 w2 per hour plus benefits

Job Overview:
The IT Assistant supports daily technology operations by assisting the onsite contact with general IT activities. This role helps ensure smooth functionality of systems, hardware, and software across the organization while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the onsite contact with general IT support activities, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of devices.
  • Support hardware installations, imaging, and peripheral device configuration.
  • Help maintain inventory of IT equipment, ensuring accurate records of assets and supplies.
  • Provide basic user assistance with software applications, email setup, and password resets.
  • Document support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system to ensure consistent service tracking.
  • Assist in preparing and deploying equipment for new hires or device refresh projects.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to resolve issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
  • Follow company IT procedures, security policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience in IT support or related technical role preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with hardware setup, network connections, and software installation.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform basic physical tasks related to equipment setup.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ticketing systems and asset management tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Active Directory.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and supporting new technologies.
