Location: Southlake, TX or Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Role Overview
Manage Agile practices and overall delivery processes for multiple Scrum teams creating solutions for investment research organizations. You will work with skilled engineering teams and internal clients to build new products for retail and institutional users. A key focus is centralizing research data to make it more accessible and enable effective use through advanced analytics. This role will be central to these efforts, driving the Scrum process while acting as an "unblocker" to ensure delivery success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies for one or more teams building systematic research, data distribution, asset allocation, and charting capabilities.
- Take responsibility for team effectiveness and maintain a consistent focus on improving and sustaining delivery.
- Foster an environment where engineering delivery teams are focused, productive, and engaged without burnout.
- Act as a liaison between our teams and other enterprise organizations, understanding and managing dependencies and risks to unblock delivery.
- Support the Scaled Agile Framework by representing one or more teams participating in the Investment Research Agile Release Train.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience working in a role related to software delivery, such as software developer, QA engineer, project or product manager, DevOps or support engineer, or scrum master.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and the principles which underly these practices.
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to gain the trust of diverse staff members in various organizations and roles.
- Must be a self-starter, motivated by working with others and biased toward action to overcome challenges and deliver quality software.
- Candidates must be eligible to convert to a full-time employee without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Detailed experience in a technical role related to software development.
- Capability to make use of data in evaluating options and driving decision-making.
- Experience, exposure, or interest in investment research processes and capabilities.
- Experience operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Compensation & Benefits
A pay range of $40.00 to $55.00 per hour is available for this position. A comprehensive benefits package is available for eligible employees.
