Job Title: ServiceNow Solution Architect  

Location: Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL (Hybrid, absolutely no Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Solution Architect with mandatory experience in ServiceNow App Engine to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions. This role will be responsible for architecting scalable applications, driving platform strategy, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of solutions on the ServiceNow platform
• Architect and deliver custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine (mandatory)
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
• Define platform architecture, governance standards, and best practices
• Design integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms
• Provide technical leadership to development teams (code reviews, design validation)
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications built on ServiceNow
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT teams
• Drive continuous improvement, platform optimization, and upgrade strategies 

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

• 10+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in ServiceNow architecture roles
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine (MANDATORY)
• Proven experience in building custom apps, workflows, and automation using App Engine
• Expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM – any)
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes)
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, third-party systems)
• Strong understanding of data modeling and platform architecture
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – highly preferred
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• Experience in enterprise-scale implementations and multi-instance architecture
• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud ecosystems
