Summary

MARS Solutions Group is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer . Our client is a Financial industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability.

Key Responsibilities

Build and enhance Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Platform Events, and REST APIs.
Develop custom business logic and integrations in a highly customized Salesforce environment.
Collaborate with the engineering team following Agile practices (standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement).
Participate in code reviews, pair programming (during onboarding), and story-based development.
Use external DevOps tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and deployments.
Troubleshoot complex engineering problems and contribute to stable, scalable, and resilient solutions.
Work closely with leads to ensure on-time delivery of technical stories and escalate blockers early.

Requirements

3 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Strong proficiency in Apex (primary requirement).
Experience with LWC, Platform Events, and REST API integrations.
Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems-not just execute tasks.
Engineering-heavy background preferred over admin-heavy profiles.
GitHub or AWS familiarity is a plus (not required).
