Salesforce Developer (Apex-Focused)

MARS Solutions Group is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer . Our client is a Financial industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability.

• Build and enhance Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Platform Events, and REST APIs.

• Develop custom business logic and integrations in a highly customized Salesforce environment.

• Collaborate with the engineering team following Agile practices (standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement).

• Participate in code reviews, pair programming (during onboarding), and story-based development.

• Use external DevOps tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and deployments.

• Troubleshoot complex engineering problems and contribute to stable, scalable, and resilient solutions.

• Work closely with leads to ensure on-time delivery of technical stories and escalate blockers early.

• 3 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Apex (primary requirement).

• Experience with LWC, Platform Events, and REST API integrations.

• Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems-not just execute tasks.

• Engineering-heavy background preferred over admin-heavy profiles.

• GitHub or AWS familiarity is a plus (not required).
