About this Position

Primerica is seeking a PC Services Intern. PC Services is part of the Infrastructure division and will have an inside understanding of the various departments in the data center. The intern will be educated about endpoint management, builds, and support in a corporate environment. During their summer with Primerica, they will work within the team format and could support the organizations departmental moves, laptop deployments, and equipment disposal. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the departments of Wintel, Unix and Mail Administration.

Salary range is $18-$22 per hour, depending on the student's undergraduate level. Salary ranges for graduate students may vary.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Assist the IT support team with end-user computing, device management, and service desk operations.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, asset management, and IT support processes.
  • Provide first-level support for end-user hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with imaging, configuring, and deploying laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Document and track IT support requests in the ticketing system.
  • Support asset inventory management and hardware lifecycle processes.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for network and printer connectivity issues.
  • Help develop user guides and IT support documentation.

Minimum Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common enterprise software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and provide customer-focused IT support.
