About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to provide technical support to engineers and scientists across a variety of tasks. This role involves preparing technical reports, conducting evaluations, and recommending corrective actions. The position requires hands-on experience with materials characterization and analytical equipment, as well as the ability to follow well-defined procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on assigned projects.
  • Develop and recommend procedures and methods; prepare technical documentation and reports.
  • Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct materials characterization using equipment such as DSC, FTIR, SEM/EDX, optical microscope, and MicroCT.
  • Support testing and analysis of medical devices, polymers, and metals.
  • Follow established procedures and work routines within defined guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in technical processes.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Associate or technical degree in engineering or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical equipment (DSC, FTIR, SEM/EDX, optical microscope, MicroCT) highly desirable.
  • Experience working with medical devices, polymers, and metals is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently within well-defined procedures.
