Responsibilities

• Support a USAF/ANG Network Operations Center (NOC) as a Tier 3/4 Network Engineer, responsible for advanced troubleshooting, network engineering, configuration management, and sustainment across NIPR/SIPR environments.
• Perform network configuration, maintenance, and support in a high-security, on-site environment.
• Manage routing/switching, firewalls, WAN, and network security protocols to ensure operational readiness and security compliance.
• Implement and document network changes, updates, and configurations following security standards.
• Assist in incident response, vulnerability management, and continuous network improvement efforts.

• 3–10 years of network engineering experience (enterprise or DoD, Tier 2/3+)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/military background
• CCNA required; Network+ minimum; CCNP preferred
• DoD 8140 compliant (Network Operations Specialist role)
• Strong hands-on experience with routing/switching, firewalls, WAN
• Technical proficiency in TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, IPv4/IPv6
• Experience in Cisco and/or Juniper environments
• Familiarity with NMS tools (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, etc.), ServiceNow or similar ITSM, STIGs, RMF, vulnerability management (ACAS), NAC (802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+), and NIPR/SIPR networks
• Ability to respond onsite within 2 hours if required and participate in an on-call rotation (24/7 support environment)
• Willingness to occasionally travel (reimbursable)
