We are seeking an experienced Construction Electrician to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional who is looking to take their career to the next level. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong background in construction and electrical work, with a particular focus on low voltage systems. This is a 4-day a week role that offers a unique blend of hands-on work and consulting, allowing the right candidate to leverage their technical skills while also providing expert advice and guidance.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Electrician, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Performing a wide range of electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems.
2. Working with various types of wiring systems and ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly.
3. Using your expertise as a journeyman electrician to provide advice and guidance on a range of construction projects.
4. Collaborating with other construction professionals to ensure electrical work is completed on time and to the highest standards.
5. Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
6. Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
7. Providing training and mentorship to junior electricians and other team members.
8. Working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure electrical work aligns with overall project objectives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a construction electrician, with substantial experience in low voltage systems.
2. A valid journeyman electrician license.
3. Proven experience working with a variety of wiring systems.
4. Familiarity with rigid electrical systems and their application in a construction context.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice.
7. A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.
8. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. A high degree of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
10. Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
