Description

We are looking for a skilled Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operations of hardware, software, and Microsoft-based systems. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, ticket management, and user assistance in a dynamic, on-site environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor, update, and resolve technical support tickets using a ticketing system to ensure timely issue resolution.

Provide hands-on assistance to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues.

Install, configure, and maintain department-approved software and ensure device functionality.

Manage and maintain Active Directory and Azure objects, including accounts, groups, and containers.

Set up and support end-user devices and location-based equipment for optimal performance.

Offer basic training and technical guidance to users on hardware and software tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity or system access issues as they arise.

Ensure adherence to IT policies and maintain documentation for support processes and solutions.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Proficiency in using ticketing systems such as ConnectWise Manage or equivalent.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory and Azure.
Familiarity with installing and supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and approved software applications.
Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to assist end users effectively.
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
