Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Manawa, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide technical assistance and support to end-users in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and proficiency with hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft applications and operating systems.
Configure, maintain, and repair PC hardware, printers, laptops, and other devices.
Prepare and set up equipment for new users, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
Perform imaging tasks to deploy operating systems and software efficiently.
Manage inventory, including tagging assets and maintaining accurate service records.
Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to track and resolve user requests effectively.
Provide technical support to a diverse group of end-users, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Oversee and maintain approximately 80 iPads in circulation within the organization.
Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing user concerns with patience and professionalism.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and reliable IT support across the facility.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft applications and operating systems.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware, including configuration and repair.
Familiarity with imaging processes for deploying operating systems and software.
Experience with inventory management and asset tagging.
Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system or similar platforms.
Ability to provide technical support to hundreds of end-users in a demanding environment.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
