Job Description:
The client lost their SAP PM and needs a backfill fast. This person will own project management for their S/4HANA transformation they've already gone live at HQ and one plant, with more plants on the way. This isn't a "manage tickets and write status reports" PM role. They need someone who can lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional SAP initiatives at a senior level and communicate up to the CIO and executive team without hand-holding.
What the Role Actually Involves:
- Leading the S/4HANA transformation project across the clients remaining plants this is the centerpiece of the role
- Managing the existing ECC environment in parallel while the transformation continues
- Owning project charters, timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking
- Managing vendor relationships (implementation partners like NTD, AMS partner Emerges, consulting firms like Clarkston)
- Running go-live activities, post-go-live stabilization, and lessons learned reviews
- Communicating project status to executive leadership including the CIO
- Mentoring junior PMO team members

- Background in manufacturing or food & beverage ERP environments
- Vendor management and contract oversight experience
- Familiarity with RISE with SAP / private cloud model
- Change management experience in large-scale SAP rollouts
- Exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- ITIL, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, or Lean certifications
- Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar PM tools
- Any AI-assisted PM tool experience
