Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Windows Server 2016 upgrade initiative across a complex enterprise environment. This role will focus on infrastructure modernization (not cloud migration), supporting upgrades across on-prem data centers and AWS-hosted servers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Windows Server upgrade projects, strong infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to drive execution across technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of Windows Server upgrade projects
Manage project plans, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies
Coordinate across infrastructure teams, application teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
Oversee upgrades across on-prem and AWS environments
Provide status reporting and executive-level updates
Ensure alignment with PMO governance (CMMI / stage-gate)

Required Skills:

7+ years of Project Management experience in IT Infrastructure
Proven experience with Windows Server upgrades (2012/2016/2019/2022)
Strong experience managing enterprise infrastructure projects
Experience working in hybrid environments (on-prem + AWS)
Expertise in risk management, scheduling, and budget tracking
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with CMMI or stage-gate PMO environments

Preferred:

Background in data center environments or large-scale server estates

Notes:

This role is focused on OS upgrades, not cloud migration
Candidates must have recent, hands-on upgrade experience
