Job Overview:
Pay Range: $17.00hr - $22.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong understanding of data center operations and infrastructure components.
- Hands-on experience with server, storage, and networking hardware.
- Ability to perform advanced hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Experience coordinating with hardware vendors and service providers.
- Proficiency in inventory management and asset tracking tools.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle escalated issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of server, storage, and network hardware.
- Coordinate and oversee vendor repairs and maintenance activities within the data center.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of hardware components and spare parts.
- Support remote teams with hands-on tasks including hardware replacement, cabling, and system reboots.
- Ensure compliance with data center operational procedures and safety standards.
- Document all activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to escalated incidents promptly.
- Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift and move equipment.
Skills:
Qualification And Education:
- 3+ years of experience in data center operations.
