IT Application Support Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL that is seeking an IT Application Support Analyst.

Summary:
Our partner is seeking a highly proactive IT Application Support Analyst IV to support software engineering teams responsible for modern banking applications. This is a hybrid technical support, Scrum Master, and technical product ownership role focused on helping engineering teams remove blockers, maintain governance standards, and improve delivery execution.
This position works closely with software engineering leadership, compliance, governance, audit, and development teams. The ideal candidate is technically capable, operationally organized, and comfortable stepping into a variety of responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a technical liaison and support resource for software engineering teams
* Help remove technical and operational blockers impacting delivery
* Coordinate issue investigation and resolution efforts across multiple teams
* Support governance, audit, and compliance processes
* Facilitate Agile delivery practices and help manage development workflows
* Operate in a Scrum Master-style capacity while maintaining strong technical awareness
* Assist with documentation, entitlement reviews, and process management
* Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
* Support teams working within containerized and cloud-native environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Experience supporting software engineering teams in Agile environments
* Strong understanding of SDLC processes and technical delivery coordination
* Experience with Jira and Confluence
* Familiarity with containerized or cloud-native application environments
* Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Experience working with compliance, governance, or audit-related processes

Preferred Qualifications
* Banking or financial services industry experience
* Experience with SharePoint and SailPoint
* Technical Product Owner or Scrum Master background
* Exposure to .NET development environments
* Experience supporting modern application platforms and container-based solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
