Join a fast-moving, experimental team dedicated to designing content experiences on the Edge browser and in Windows, including AI-generated and personalized consumer experiences. This role will contribute directly to AI-first news experiences in partnership with the Copilot core team, as well as a major redesign aimed at engaging younger audiences.

responsibilities:
- Design expressive, visually compelling features for AI news and interest feeds from concept through production.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define product features and align on scope.
- Create cohesive, scalable designs within a complex design system and validate ideas through interactive prototypes.
- Present work in weekly design reviews, incorporate cross-functional feedback, and deliver finalized specs for engineering handoff.
qualifications:
5-7 years of professional product design experience with a portfolio showcasing excellence in visual design for consumer-facing digital products.
Advanced proficiency in Figma (including component systems, interaction flows, and prototyping) and Adobe Creative Suite.
Demonstrated experience building interactive prototypes ("vibe coding") with a baseline familiarity with front-end technologies.
Strong background in foundational visual design, typography, color, layout, and iconography.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Motion design skills (After Effects, Principle, Lottie, or similar) with a solid understanding of UX animation principles.
Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, MidJourney, DALLE, Runway).
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Product Design, or a related field.
