Financial Systems Analyst

Full-Time, Direct Hire
Onsite for first 90 days, then hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite)
$95,000 to $105,000 base + bonus + profit sharing

What You Will Do
Financial Systems Support
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot financial applications including accounting, billing and collections, time entry, expense reporting, budgeting, and business intelligence tools
- Partner with Finance and IT on system upgrades, configurations, and new implementations
- Maintain and enhance custom Microsoft Access applications using VBA and established best practices
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and other BI tools
- Write and execute SQL queries to analyze, validate, and manage financial data
- Provide ad hoc reporting and insights for Finance leadership and internal stakeholders
Process Improvement
- Analyze current financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Help streamline workflows, reporting, and procedures through technology and smarter system usage
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives related to financial systems and data enhancements
Collaboration and Documentation
- Serve as a technical liaison between Finance and IT
- Support testing and validation during system upgrades and implementations
- Assist with data governance efforts and maintain strong knowledge of system integrations
- Document procedures, workflows, and technical specifications
What We Are Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting financial systems
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, metrics, and business operations
- Advanced Excel skills and strong SQL and database management experience
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or SSRS
- Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Preferred
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Hands-on experience with legal financial systems such as Aderant, Intapp Time, Emburse, or BigHand
- Advanced Microsoft Access and VBA skills
- Familiarity with database and cube structures
Work Schedule
This role is fully onsite for the first 90 days to support training and relationship building. After that, a hybrid schedule is offered with a minimum of two days onsite per week. Onsite expectations may vary based on business needs.
