Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a DoDIN Services Architect (Senior) to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities - Design and optimize DoDIN service architectures supporting enterprise connectivity, core infrastructure services, and secure mission integration across classified and unclassified networks
- Develop architecture standards for identity services, directory services, enterprise messaging, transport integration, and boundary protection alignment in accordance with DoD and Army operational requirements
- Review technical designs for scalability, redundancy, high availability, and compliance with DISA STIGs, DoDIN transport requirements, and ARNG cybersecurity directives
- Provide technical oversight for integration of new services into existing enterprise environments, ensuring architectural decisions support operational resilience, secure interoperability, and mission continuity
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation including service design specifications, integration patterns, transport standards, boundary protection designs, and identity service architectures
- Validate that proposed infrastructure changes and service integrations meet DoD cybersecurity policy, DISA STIG requirements, and DoDIN operational directives prior to production deployment
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, network operations, enterprise engineering, and hosting teams to ensure DoDIN service architectures support integrated enterprise service delivery
- Provide architectural guidance and technical mentorship to DoDIN services engineers and administrators on design standards, integration patterns, and compliance requirements
- Support enterprise modernization planning including cloud migration architecture, Zero Trust adoption, and Configuration-as-Code practices driving vendor/platform independence using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Code Mettle
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural solutions to enhance DoDIN service delivery, efficiency, and security posture
- Contribute to enterprise planning efforts related to ARNG initiatives such as A365/DoD365, AESMP, C2C, AUDS-U/C, AGUN, and CBII, ensuring DoDIN service architectural alignment across modernization programs
- Advise Government leadership and program stakeholders on DoDIN architecture decisions, risk posture, capacity planning, and technology adoption strategies
Required Skills Required Qualifications - Clearance: Active Secret clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting enterprise network architecture, infrastructure engineering, or DoDIN-connected environments within DoD or Federal organizations
- Demonstrated experience designing and optimizing enterprise service architectures supporting secure connectivity, core infrastructure services, and mission system integration
- Proven ability to develop architectural standards for identity services, directory services, enterprise messaging, transport integration, and boundary protection in accordance with DoD and Army operational requirements
- Experience reviewing technical designs to ensure scalability, redundancy, high availability, and compliance with DISA STIGs, DoDIN transport standards, and ARNG cybersecurity directives
- Demonstrated ability to provide architectural oversight for integration of new services into existing enterprise environments while ensuring operational resilience, secure interoperability, and mission continuity
- Proven ability to provide architectural governance and technical oversight for integration of new services into existing enterprise environments while maintaining operational resilience and mission continuity
- DoD 8140.03Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651 - Enterprise Architect at the Advanced proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, or GICSP - or an approved accredited degree (Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering from a regionally or nationally recognized accrediting agency)
Desired Skills Desired Qualifications - Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for SCI
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- Multiple certifications from the DoDM8140.03 approved list for Work Role 651(e.g., holding both an approved degree and one or more of: CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, GICSP)
- ITIL4 Foundation certification or higher
- Experience with DISA circuit provisioning, transport integration, and WAN architecture design
- Experience designing DoDIN service architectures supporting both SIPRNet and NIPRNet environments for100,000+ users across geographically distributed sites
- Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Army Unified Network Plan (AUNP) principles
- Familiarity with Configuration-as-Code practices driving vendor/platform independence using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Code Mettle
- Experience with cloud migration architecture, including hybrid on-premises and cloud-connected designs at IL4/5 and IL6
- Knowledge of Army enterprise tools and platforms including ACAS, AESMP, Solarwinds, Elastic, and related technologies
- Experience with Zero Trust architecture design and implementation within DoD environments
- Familiarity with ARNG enterprise initiatives such as A365/DoD365, AESMP, C2C, AUDS-U/C, AGUN, and CBII
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Prior experience with ARNG G6 or Army enterprise DoDIN architecture and engineering
