Product: The Workplace Productivity Solutions --Provide Thrivent with a suite of foundational, enterprise wide productivity applications that allow their workforce to seamlessly and securely communicate and collaborate)
This role will require a mixture of both Product Owner and technical skills to keep everything organized - someone who can immediately stabilize delivery, refine backlogs, and coordinate across multiple employee-facing portfolios in a complex enterprise environment. Strong collaboration skills.
Personality: Someone who is extremely proactive and can collaborate with other parts of the organization.
Product Ownership & Agile Execution (Must-Have)
Deep experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum
Backlog ownership, refinement, and prioritization
Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Short- to mid-term planning aligned to long-term strategy
Managing delivery in environments with potential pushback on the product model
Technical & Domain Expertise (Must-Have)
Strong technical fluency (no coding required)
Experience managing hardware + software products, such as:
Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, Copilot
Enterprise productivity or workplace technology
Understanding of:
Integrations, APIs, vendor platforms
Enterprise IT environments
Vendor management experience (roadmaps, upgrades, configurations)
Cross-Portfolio Collaboration (Critical)
Proven ability to coordinate across multiple product portfolios
Experience working with:
Modern Workplace / Digital Employee Experience
Identity, security, or shared services teams
Proactive communicator who initiates alignment rather than waits. Must have stakeholder & interpersonal skills
