Must Have Skills
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on Java development experience (80-90% coding)
- Expert in Spring Boot / Spring Framework
- Strong backend and microservices development experience
- Hands-on AWS cloud experience
- Kubernetes and Docker experience
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins, CodeDeploy, or similar tools
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
- Strong Linux/Unix knowledge
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL
- Cloud-native application development experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Python or Go experience
- Service Mesh experience
- Spark, Flink, Data Warehousing, or MPP platforms
- Basic UI development experience
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS
- Develop and enhance microservices architecture
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor application performance and improve observability
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements
- Review code and follow software engineering best practices
- Drive technical improvements and mentor junior developers
