JOB SUMMARY
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to manage an existing portfolio of technology and security initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing ongoing projects, establishing priorities, managing schedules and deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring continued progress across multiple initiatives.
The successful candidate will have strong program and project management experience, preferably with exposure to physical security technology, enterprise security platforms, and security operations environments. Familiarity with technologies such as Genetec, Lenel, Video Management Systems (VMS), and Security Operations Centers (SOC).
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of an existing portfolio of security technology projects and initiatives.
- Assess current project status, priorities, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
- Coordinate with technical teams, security stakeholders, external vendors, and business leadership.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and drive issue resolution.
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately while ensuring accountability for project deliverables.
- Oversee the implementation, enhancement, and delivery of security-related technologies and systems.
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while maintaining continuity and delivery momentum.
- Support effective collaboration among technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex technology projects or programs simultaneously.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery management skills.
- Ability to take over ongoing projects, quickly assess their status, and establish control over timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects toward successful completion.
Experience or familiarity with the following technologies and environments
- Genetec: Enterprise physical security and video surveillance management platforms.
- Lenel: Physical access control and electronic security management systems.
- Video Management Systems (VMS): Video surveillance, camera monitoring, recording, and management solutions.
- Security Operations Center (SOC): Security monitoring, operational processes, and incident coordination environments.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Exposure to AI technologies and their potential applications in security environments.
