Cabling Data Center Project Manager
Compensation - $60 to $70 per hour.

Join a dynamic team as a Cabling Data Center Project Manager and take the lead in driving critical projects that optimize our data center operations. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, ensuring that objectives are met while maintaining high standards of cost, time, scope, and quality. As a bridge between our production teams and clients, you will leverage your industry knowledge to foster strong relationships, adapt to client needs, and ensure top-notch delivery and satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, preferably with large business-to-business customers.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cabling systems, video surveillance systems, and access control operations in commercial settings.
- Organization Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Capacity to identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
Nice to Have Skills
- Industry Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security industry troubleshooting methods and an ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Additional Experience: Experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and incident management.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or similar disciplines.
- Experience Level: Prior experience managing multiple data center projects effectively.
Other Requirements
- Travel: This role will require occasional travel to customer sites.
- Certifications: Must be able to pass a drug screening and comply with safety policies and procedures.
