Key Responsibilities

Data Ingestion & Integration: Accessing, cleaning, and transforming data from diverse sources using SAS ETL capabilities.
Pipeline Development: Designing efficient data engineering pipelines, often via SAS Studio Engineer and Job Flow Scheduler.
Data Quality & Governance: Profiling data to ensure reliability and applying data quality algorithms.
Cloud & Modern Data Stack: Utilizing SAS Viya for cloud data integration (AWS, Azure, Databricks).
Collaboration: Translating business requirements into technical specifications for data analysts and scientists.

Core Skills & Tools

Languages: Expert-level SAS programming (Data steps, PROC SQL, Macros) and SQL.
SAS Technologies: SAS Viya, SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), SAS Data Integration (DI) Studio.
Techniques: ETL/ELT development, data modelling, database management.
Optional Skills: Python, R, and cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS).
