Cloud Engineer

Position Overview

Seeking an Cloud Engineer with a focus on cloud engineering and cloud deployment. This role will support cloud architecture and engineering teams in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The selected candidate will assist architects in understanding business objectives, evaluating solutions, conducting proof-of-concepts, and implementing cloud technologies that improve automation, delivery, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Cloud Delivery Analyst / Business Analyst experience – 1-3 years
• Knowledge of designing and developing cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) – 1-3 years
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and processes
• Solid understanding of DevOps, web services, and APIs – 1-3 years
• Foundational knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture, security requirements, and operational processes – 1-3 years
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist cloud architects with design and deployment of cloud solutions across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments
• Support public, private, and hybrid cloud implementations
• Maintain and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
• Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools
• Integrate cloud pipelines with DevOps systems
• Document architecture decisions, deployment procedures, and configurations
• Participate in knowledge transfer and training sessions
• Maintain organized technical documentation
• Support cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, PCI, etc.)
• Implement secure configurations and monitoring controls
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define cloud solutions
• Participate in technology evaluations with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Support architecture reviews and solution assessments
• Assist with workload optimization, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• Support workload migrations and disaster recovery testing
• Integrate cloud services with on-premises technologies such as VMware, Cisco, Dell, and Nutanix
