Job Title: General IT Support Services
Job Location: Frankfort, KY
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Provide IT and operational support for systems related to driver licensing, vehicle registration, and remote issuance services.
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and workflow issues while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and operational requirements.
  • Support both central and regional offices with technical assistance, process improvements, and user guidance.

Requirements/Must Have:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • High level of accountability, professionalism, and flexibility.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Minimum of 2 years of computer technology experience.
  • Ability to learn and interpret driver licensing systems, laws, and policies.
  • Strong organizational skills and task-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT and software troubleshooting support to central and regional offices.
  • Support systems used for driver licensing, vehicle registration, and remote issuance operations.
  • Diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure timely processing of applications.
  • Analyze recurring technical issues using logs, reports, and transaction data.
  • Assist users with system access, credentials, and operational support.
  • Maintain and update division website content.
  • Participate in technical meetings and support system enhancements.
  • Assist with database management and back-office system operations.
  • Advise applicants on driver licensing processes, laws, and policies.
  • Distribute communications and support administrative functions.
  • Recommend process and system improvements to management.
  • Support performance tracking, goal alignment, and conflict resolution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree or Associate s degree in a related field preferred.
