The Opportunity

We are building a next-generation AI-native marketplace platform—where intelligence is not a feature, but the foundation.

We’re looking for an AI Principal Engineer who can architect and build the AI core from zero to scale—owning everything from LLM orchestration to control planes and agent ecosystems.

This is a rare builder role: you won’t be integrating AI—you’ll be defining how AI systems operate at scale in a real-world marketplace.

What You’ll Own

1. Architect and deliver a full-stack AI platform powering marketplace intelligence
2. Build agentic AI systems using leading models from OpenAI and Anthropic (Claude)
3. Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for tool + model interaction
4. Create a centralized AI Control Plane:
1. Model routing & multi-LLM orchestration
2. Prompt lifecycle management
3. Guardrails, governance, and observability
5. Develop real-time decision engines for matching, pricing, and recommendations
6. Build scalable AI infrastructure (RAG, vector memory, knowledge systems, ingestion pipelines)

What We’re Looking For

Builder DNA

1. You’ve built 0 → 1 systems—not just optimized existing ones
2. You are deeply hands-on and still love coding complex systems

AI Depth

1. Strong experience with LLM ecosystems like OpenAI, Anthropic
2. Expertise in:
1. Agentic workflows & multi-agent systems
2. RAG and memory architectures
3. Prompt engineering and evaluation
4. Tool orchestration and function calling

Systems & Architecture

1. Experience designing:
1. AI Control Planes
2. MCP servers or equivalent frameworks
3. Distributed, event-driven architectures
2. Strong cloud-native engineering (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)

Data & Intelligence Systems

1. Experience with:
1. Vector databases & knowledge graphs
2. Crawl-based or large-scale ingestion systems
3. Real-time AI inference pipelines
