About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced
Report Developer / Applications Developer to support a large-scale
legacy system modernization and reporting initiative. This role is focused on
SQL Server report development, light
application modernization, and enabling
self-service reporting for business users.
What You'll Be Doing- Build, enhance, and validate reports using SQL Server Report Studio (SSRS)
- Translate business requirements into clear, well-documented reports
- Support self-service and recurring reports for end users
- Handle ad-hoc data requests and data analysis as needed
- Assist with modernizing legacy application code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Ensure reports and UI changes meet W3C / ADA accessibility standards
What We're Looking For (Must Have)- Strong experience with SQL Server and SSRS report development
- Solid SQL skills (writing and validating queries)
- Experience gathering requirements and documenting report logic
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Comfortable working with legacy systems
- Able to work EST hours
Nice to Have (Not Required)- Oracle database experience
- Familiarity with Toad for Oracle
- Java / Eclipse / WebLogic exposure
- Accessibility or ADA compliance experience
- Visual reporting tools (Tableau, etc.)
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Augusta, ME.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.44 - $53.33/hr.
