Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Senior Consultant

We are seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Senior Consultant to support Guidehouse on a commercial health revenue cycle technology initiative focused on Epic revenue cycle implementation, optimization, testing, workflow troubleshooting, go-live readiness, post-live stabilization, and application support.
This is a remote opportunity supporting a sold and funded commercial health project. The Epic Revenue Cycle Technology Senior Consultant will work hands-on across Epic revenue cycle workflows, build/configuration support, testing, claims/remittance, billing optimization, reporting enablement, issue resolution, and collaboration with revenue cycle and IT stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Epic revenue cycle applications, hospital billing, professional billing, claims/remittance, Charge Router, revenue integrity, testing, workflow analysis, application support, and post-live stabilization.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting Epic revenue cycle implementation, optimization, stabilization, and application support workstreams
Assisting with hospital billing, professional billing, claims/remittance, charge capture, Charge Router, revenue integrity, payer/reimbursement, AR, denials, or patient financial services workflows
Analyzing current-state workflows and helping design, test, and support future-state solutions
Supporting Epic build/configuration, testing, validation, upgrades, issue resolution, and workflow troubleshooting
Participating in UAT, integrated testing, claim scenario testing, volume testing, post-live support, or stabilization activities
Identifying root causes of revenue cycle issues and recommending process or system improvements
Supporting reporting enablement, KPI tracking, workqueue analysis, dashboard input, or performance monitoring as needed
Collaborating with operational users, Epic application teams, IT, reporting teams, revenue cycle stakeholders, and project leadership
Documenting findings, workflows, testing outcomes, issue resolutions, and recommendations
Communicating clearly with technical, operational, and revenue cycle audiences
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Epic revenue cycle applications, workflows, implementation, optimization, or application support
Experience with one or more Epic revenue cycle areas such as Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims and Remittance, Charge Router, Revenue Guardian, Revenue Integrity, Single Billing Office, contract administration, reimbursement, charge capture, denials, payment posting, or workqueues
Experience with Epic build/configuration, testing, UAT, upgrades, troubleshooting, ticket support, workflow analysis, go-live support, or post-live stabilization
Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and how system design impacts billing, reimbursement, claims, denials, AR, and revenue capture
Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with operational, technical, and revenue cycle stakeholders in a remote consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims and Remittance, Charge Router, Revenue Guardian, Revenue Integrity, SBO, Home Health/Hospice Revenue Cycle, or related Epic modules
Experience with Data Courier, Content Management, Nova Notes, Radar, Reporting Workbench, Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito, SlicerDicer, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools
Prior consulting experience or experience supporting multiple client groups, business units, hospitals, clinics, or Community Connect environments
Experience supporting go-lives, command center, post-live stabilization, system upgrades, or large Epic transformation projects
