We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Product Owner (Legal Systems) to lead the development and optimization of legal software solutions focused on entity management, board portals, and systems supporting companies through the IPO process. This role serves as the bridge between legal operations, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in corporate governance, tax compliance, and legal documentation workflows. This position plays a critical role in preparing complex, multi-entity organizations for public readiness through scalable, compliant, and secure legal technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the product roadmap for legal software systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance requirements.
Lead and optimize entity management workflows including tax year tracking, code assignments, and legal documentation management (W-9s, W-8s, tax reporting).
Oversee implementation and administration of board portal systems to enable secure governance and board communications.
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and IT teams to integrate platforms such as Salesforce, Filejet, Brightflag, and Diligence.
Drive requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritization for IPO readiness initiatives, including purchase and sales agreement workflows.
Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery, system performance, and compliance standards are met.
Monitor system performance, user adoption, and compliance metrics; provide reporting and continuous improvement recommendations.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment meetings to define product features, timelines, and strategic priorities.
Ensure data integrity, security, and audit readiness across all legal systems and entity platforms.
Continuously evaluate system enhancements in response to regulatory changes and user feedback.
Qualifications
Required:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in legal, compliance, or financial software domains.
Strong understanding of entity management, corporate governance, and tax compliance processes.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and legal software platforms such as Filejet, Brightflag, and Diligence.
Familiarity with IPO processes and legal documentation workflows.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex legal requirements into technical specifications.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
Preferred (Optional):
Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-LLC corporate structures.
Background in media, entertainment, or publicly traded company environments.
Agile or Product Owner certification.
Experience implementing governance or compliance automation tools.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $105,000 - 125,000 / per year depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
