Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer with leadership skills, insights on Mobile Architecture, and software development experience. The role involves developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks. This position requires leading, designing, and developing automated solutions, including unit, functional, UI, and performance testing, to ensure software quality across mobile devices and tablets. The role involves close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams and requires the ability to work with limited guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize an innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase.
- Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features.
- Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes.
- Maintain automated regression suites and packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing or Manual QA. Hands-on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools is required.
Technical Skills:- Java and Shell Scripting
- Mobile Test Automation with Appium
- Selenium Test NG
- Experience with mobile automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest
- Experience with source code and CI/CD management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Bitbucket)
- Primary Skill: Perfecto - Mobile Automation, Performance, and Monitoring
- Secondary Skill: Selenium
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Work Environment
This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site. In-person interviews are a required part of the selection process.
