ElevationHR is supporting a Fortune 500 energy and critical infrastructure organization undergoing a major cloud and data transformation. We are hiring two Principal Google Cloud Platform Solutions Architects to design and scale enterprise data platforms supporting analytics, AI, and modernization initiatives.

This role requires someone who combines deep Google Cloud expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead teams while working directly with senior stakeholders and client leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Lead large-scale Google Cloud Platform cloud implementations for enterprise organizations
• Design scalable pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc
• Guide engineering teams through architecture decisions and implementation
• Serve as a client-facing technical leader, partnering with executives and stakeholders
• Translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions
• Establish standards for performance, security, and governance

Required Experience

• 12+ years in cloud architecture, data engineering, or platform engineering
• Proven experience leading Google Cloud Platform implementations within large enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform preferred)
• Strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required

Preferred Background

• Consulting or enterprise transformation experience
• Energy, utilities, or regulated industry exposure
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or modern analytics platforms
