Job Title: Sr Technical Architect (SDN, OSS, and Network Orchestration)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months with high possibility of extension.
Business Justification/Executive Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect (at least fifteen (15) years of experience) with solid expertise in Java full-stack development, microservices architecture, telecom network technologies (i.e., SDN/NMS/EMS, OSS/BSS integration, and network orchestration), and Keycloak-based identity and access management (IAM). The role involves architecting scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions leveraging Java, Spring Boot, React, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and develop enterprise-grade microservices using:
o Java,
o Spring Boot,
o Hibernate/JPA, and
o Kafka.
• Design and own API-first architectures leveraging REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and event-driven architectures.
• Lead the following:
o OSSNMSEMS integrations,
o Network orchestration workflows,
o Inventory,
o Provisioning, and
o Assurance use cases.
• Design and implement identity management and access management using:
o Keycloak,
o OAuth2OIDC,
o SSO,
o RBAC, and
o Federation.
• Develop and integrate React-based applications with secure back-end services.
• Build cloud-native applications using Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design resilient, observable, and secure systems with mTLS, monitoring, and performance optimization best practices.
• Implement observability frameworks using OpenTelemetry, including distributed tracing, metrics, and centralized logging.
• Mentor teams, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure high-quality documentation and delivery.
Requirements
General Qualifications
• At least fifteen (15) years of experience in both of the following:
o Software development
o Architecture
• Proven ability to lead architecture, design, and technical governance for large-scale enterprise solutions
General Technical Skills
• Solid understanding of the following:
o Distributed systems
o Scalability
o Security
o Cloud-native architectures
• Hands-on experience in the following:
o SDN/EMS/NMS
o OSS/BSS integration
o Network orchestration
o Telecom domain
Specific Technical Skills
Strong expertise in the following technical skillsets and technology stacks:
