Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Capital Markets) in Salt Lake City, UT.
Summary:
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in a large-scale Foreign Exchange (FX) platform modernization initiative. This individual will help define the strategy for migrating away from the organization's legacy Spectrum FX trading platform while helping shape the future-state architecture built around Calypso and a new client-facing FX trading solution.
This is a highly visible, strategic role requiring deep knowledge of FX trading platforms, capital markets technology, and enterprise system migrations. The ideal candidate can quickly assess complex trading environments, understand downstream integrations, and guide stakeholders through a successful modernization effort. As a senior member of the Capital Markets Technology team, you'll partner with business leaders, technology teams, and vendors to define the organization's future FX platform strategy.
Responsibilities include:
* Analyze the current FX trading ecosystem, architecture, and business workflows
* Document system integrations, dependencies, and downstream impacts across enterprise applications
* Define migration strategies for replacing the existing Spectrum FX platform
* Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop future-state requirements
* Evaluate Calypso capabilities and help align platform functionality with business objectives
* Support planning for a new client-facing FX trading portal integrated with Calypso
* Identify migration risks and develop strategies to minimize operational disruption
* Lead requirements gathering sessions with trading, operations, treasury, and technology teams
* Analyze front-to-back FX trade lifecycle processes and identify opportunities for improvement
* Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the platform modernization initiative
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within financial services or capital markets
* Strong experience supporting enterprise trading systems
* Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Calypso, ION Spectrum, Wallstreet FX
* Experience supporting large-scale platform migrations or enterprise modernization initiatives
* Experience gathering business and technical requirements across multiple stakeholder groups
* Deep understanding of Foreign Exchange (FX) products and trade lifecycle management
* Strong understanding of system integrations and enterprise application architecture
* Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
* Ability to bridge business and technology teams through complex transformation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
* Hands-on Calypso implementation or configuration experience
* Experience replacing or migrating from Spectrum
* Experience with treasury, payments, or capital markets technology
* Experience supporting vendor evaluations or RFP processes
* Experience leading user adoption, training, or organizational change initiatives
* Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards (MT300, MT103, MT202)
* Familiarity with APIs, integration architecture, and microservices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
