Pay Range: $45 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role will mostly leverage MS Office and FigJam to conduct conversations, manage metrics, build reports, capture and analyze qualitative data, and scope experience research.
  • In Maze, this role will need a basic understanding to support researchers reviewing unmoderated tests, and in SharePoint, this role will make minor edits and manage site pages.
  • Develops partner relationships to identify research, strategy, and alignment opportunities.
  • Explores and validates incoming requests for complex research and strategy projects, and works closely with the director to scope relevant efforts in qualitative research, experience mapping/service design, and strategic alignment.
  • Deconstructs desired outcomes to produce clear expectations, breakdown of phases, and achievable milestones; creates documents outlining scope, criteria, and timeline in alignment with project needs.
  • Drives work and capacity planning, keeping a pulse on incoming work and team members areas of specialization to most effectively set expectations and staff projects.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of the goals, approach, phases, and status across multiple projects and exhibits an advanced understanding of the nuanced differences across areas of strategic execution.
  • Contributes to project work in experience research and strategy, as needed and during select phases.
  • Coaches and mentors team members in experience research, strategic alignment facilitation, workshop theory, experience mapping, and technical practices.
  • Acts as oversight on projects, exhibiting advanced domain knowledge in research practices to provide teams with constructive guidance on methodology, approach, and analysis planning, and a healthy challenge during synthesis and delivery.
  • Drives continuous improvement of internal processes to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Owns team metrics across services, combining data from multiple sources to produce numbers that reflect volume, impact, and outcomes; delivers program updates for periodic reporting.
  • Develops ways to communicate outcomes and impact over time, maintains relationships with stakeholders, and holds team members accountable for post-project tasks.
  • Owns and manages team organization, including process documentation, team presentations, digital whiteboards, team folders, and SharePoint websites.
  • Owns day-to-day operations and administrative tasks to maintain project velocity, partners to lead the team through change management and organizational shifts, and invests in team culture and community.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills: UX Research", Qualitative , Quantitative , HCD
  • Perform end-to-end experience research, including planning, moderating, and analyzing generative qualitative data to inform experiences; with an emphasis on analyzing qualitative data, demonstrating the ability to explore and articulate relationships across data points and patterns; (8 years)
  • Quantitative measurement and metrics, demonstrating the ability to generate metrics that reflect impact, clean and handle data, and maintain metrics to use for reporting; (6 years)
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management methods to keep teams on track; (6 years)
  • What are the top three technology tools this resource must have knowledge of using?
  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • MS SharePoint (for websites)
  • FigJam/Zoom Whiteboards, Maze
  • Research skills should span beyond the digital space and over-index in moderated strategic efforts, taking broad conversations and distilling them into pattern-analyzed findings focused on the nuances.
  • In addition, candidates should exhibit advanced facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills; advanced communication skills experienced in presenting to Senior and Executive leaders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of human-centered design approaches, methods, and principles.
  • Advanced experience with Program and/or Project Management methods and tools.
  • Looking to map to office location; all are applicable, including Plano, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, San Antonio, and Charlotte.
