This role bridges business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, strategic thinker, with a strong background in technical portfolio delivery. The Systems Technical Leader is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs and portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. The Systems Technical Leader collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, monitor progress, and ensure successful implementation of solutions.

responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex technical programs, ensuring all activities are aligned with organizational goals. Provide direction and motivation to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Portfolio Management:
Develop and manage portfolios of projects, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and resource availability. Ensure effective allocation of resources and balance competing demands across multiple projects.
Technical Leadership:
Oversee technical delivery, including architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment. Guide teams through technical challenges, coach team members, and foster innovation to deliver robust solutions.
Organizational Excellence:
Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk management processes. Implement best practices for project tracking and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Continuously optimize workflows and resource utilization for maximum efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders and executive leadership. Build strong relationships across departments and act as a liaison to drive consensus and resolve conflicts.
Team Development:
Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill advancement. Lead by example, demonstrating organizational discipline, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
qualifications:
- At least 7 years in Systems Delivery Role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience with big data and/or Infrastructure
- Background in Portfolio Management & Budget
- Expertise in integrating diverse data sources with best practices and monitoring
- Experience in delivering transformation programs of $5M+
- Ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- High organization ability, clear communication & writing skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
