Summary

Job Title: Enterprise Architect (Cybersecurity & Resilience)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
JD:
Key Responsibilities:
Define and govern statewide enterprise architecture across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud environments
Design and validate security telemetry, SIEM, network detection, and resilience architectures
Establish and operate architecture governance and review boards
Make and document high-impact architectural decisions affecting detection, response, and recovery
Resolve cross-organizational technical conflicts and manage architectural risk
Support executive briefings, incident response readiness, and strategic planning
Provide architectural leadership for vendor selection and large-scale procurements

Required Qualifications (Short Form)
15+ years Enterprise Architecture in large, complex environments
12+ years Infrastructure Architecture (on-prem & hybrid)
10+ years Cybersecurity Architecture
10+ years producing architecture decision artifacts and technical designs
8+ years architecture governance and review leadership
Strong executive-level communication skills

Preferred:
Security telemetry & SIEM architecture
Hybrid cloud & virtualization platforms
Network visibility and detection architecture
NIST-aligned risk management frameworks
