An established enterprise organization is seeking a
Network Engineer to join its Information Technology team. This is a technical lead role within a collaborative team of six, supporting a wide range of critical infrastructure across 100+ locations.
This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical systems while helping guide future technology decisions, including upcoming infrastructure and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain complex LAN/WAN network environments
- Serve as a technical lead, providing guidance and mentorship to network staff
- Architect and support multi-platform enterprise networks
- Configure and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network security and reliability
- Support and enhance network infrastructure across diverse operational environments
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects and upgrades
- Participate in evaluating and selecting future technologies, including firewall solutions
- Maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedural standards
Technical Environment- Cisco-based Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
- BGP routing
- Check Point firewalls
- Primarily on-premise infrastructure with early-stage cloud adoption
- Exposure to future cloud and security architecture decisions

Requirements Minimum Qualifications- Bachelors or Associates Degree
- Experience:4-6+ years of professional networking experience
- Strong expertise in LAN/WAN environments
- Proven experience with routing protocols (especially BGP)
- Hands-on experience with VLANs and network architecture
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Ansible or network automation
- Exposure to Azure cloud networking
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, etc.)
