We are looking for a Shuttle Driver for our client in Somerville, MA

Job Title: Shuttle Driver

Job Location: Somerville, MA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $24.72hr - $32.53hr

Requirement/Must Have:

Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to operate shuttle bus or passenger vehicles safely.
Attention to detail in maintaining logs and documentation.

Experience:

Prior experience driving shuttle buses or passenger vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport passengers according to scheduled routes and timelines.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or detours.
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger counts.
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
Ensure passenger safety, including adherence to capacity limits.
Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, using appropriate equipment.
Report any vehicle issues or emergencies to supervisors.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Should Have:

Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
Ability to work in diverse environments and weather conditions.
Multilingual skills are a plus.

Skills:

Safe driving and navigation.
Customer service and passenger assistance.
Record-keeping and reporting.
Communication and coordination.

Qualification and Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
