Job Title: Diagnostics Application Support Analyst (LIS Support)
Location: Louisville, KY (5 days Onsite Lab Environment)
Work Hours: 5:00 AM 1:00 PM EST

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Diagnostics Application Support Analyst to support lab applications and systems within a clinical lab environment. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, supporting LIS systems, and working closely with business users and lab teams.

Basic activities:

Resolve issues with instrument connections
Resolve application issues in accordance with change management practices
break fix issues with specific areas according to SOPs that would be established
Resolve issues for ancillary systems, like label printing, scanning, myla/vitek access
Gather examples and workflows of application issues and ideas
Define business requirements for specific application items discussed based on direct review
Documentation creation and maintenance
Monitor for system issues on database, interfaces
Validate application and system changes
Implementation of the previous 10 Louisville LABDAQ recommendations
Document current workflow processes to expediate LIS replacement (LABDAQ to future Global LIS)
Meet with Louisville Department leaders (daily) to review application and workflow suggestions
Meet with Louisville Manager Leaders (daily / weekly) to review application and workflow suggestions
Meet with LIS team daily (at end of Louisville day) to review findings and brainstorm best daily path forward

Do not do

Any hardware changes: physical infrastructure (Ports, PC Clean up, Printers, Scanners, Circuits, Wireless, Instruments) Handled by ZTD Infrastructure Team
Application changes Handled by ZTD LIS Team
Project management Handled by ZTD PMO team

Requirements:

On-site worker
Able to work with limited supervision (super visor is remote)
Able to interact with business users
Working Knowledge of Lab Information Systems
Business Requirements background a plus
