We are seeking a senior-level Programmer with 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, including Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions, primarily vendor-hosted platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle database environments and will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining database structures, PL/SQL code, and data integrations.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including Data Architects, DBAs, application support teams, and vendors to ensure secure, efficient, and accurate data flow across systems. The position requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a major system replacement project with a focus on data migration and ongoing maintenance
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers, constraints)
Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
Perform data modeling (logical and physical) and normalization
Lead data migration and conversion activities for system implementations and integrations
Develop and integrate web services (SOAP/REST) for data exchange with vendor-hosted systems
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance through analysis and validation
Collaborate with technical teams on performance tuning and best practices
Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions
Participate in technical design, documentation, and project planning activities
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, functions)
8+ years using Oracle tools such as Toad or SQL Developer
8+ years designing and maintaining Oracle database objects
8+ years of experience in data modeling and database normalization
Experience working with or integrating COTS/vendor-hosted systems
8+ years of data migration and data conversion experience
Strong background in data analysis, data quality, and metadata management
8+ years developing and integrating SOAP/REST web services

Open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense
Must be able to work onsite from day one as per hybrid schedule
