Title: Senior IT Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Houston, TX)

ComTec is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with experience working on IT infrastructure or IT Security projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead business requirements gathering workshops and document business requirements
• Analyse current business processes and document AS-IS business process flows
• Work with business stakeholders in developing TO-BE business process flows
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and produce relevant support documentation
• Assist in developing business cases, communication plans, RTM, RACI, project plans, and estimates.
• Involve in all stages of the software development lifecycle and continuously should act as a liaison between the customer and the team.
• Develop test plans and test cases.
• Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in change management and project communications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working as an IT Business Analyst
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in an enterprise-level IT environment
• Experience working on IT Security or infrastructure projects is must
• Extensive Experience working with Waterfall Methodology is must
• Extensive experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience developing AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows
• Must have in-depth knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes, the ability to identify, capture, and translate business requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.
• Critical thinking skills which can be applied to solve business and system problems.
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation, and coordination skills
