SAP PP/DS Business Analyst & UAT Lead

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/DS Business Analyst & UAT Lead to support a large-scale SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) implementation. This role is primarily focused on the business, functional, and testing aspects of the deployment rather than system configuration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, production planning, supply chain processes, business analysis, and user acceptance testing. This individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and implementation teams to ensure the solution aligns with business requirements and is successfully adopted by end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Serve as the functional liaison between business users and SAP implementation teams.
- Support SAP PP/DS implementation activities and future planning system initiatives.
- Translate technical concepts, defects, and system functionality into business-friendly language.
- Develop, execute, and manage test plans, test scripts, and validation activities.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
- Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
- Track testing results, defects, issue resolution, and process improvements.
- Assist with training, business readiness, and user adoption activities.
- Support deployment activities and transition of solutions to operational teams.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and production planning processes.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
- Hands-on experience facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience creating test cases, test scripts, and process documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting ERP, supply chain, or manufacturing system implementations.
- Ability to work effectively between business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Experience with SAP APO PP/DS.
- Supply Chain Planning or Manufacturing Planning background.
- Experience working with implementation partners or consulting organizations.
- Change management, training, and business readiness experience.
- Continuous improvement and process optimization experience.
