Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Spring, Texas. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in fraud investigation and analytics while contributing to meaningful data-driven insights. If you enjoy analyzing complex datasets and identifying patterns to prevent fraudulent activities, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns indicative of fraudulent activities.
Develop and implement fraud detection strategies using advanced analytics and investigative techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and organize data for fraud prevention initiatives.
Conduct detailed investigations into suspected fraudulent activities and recommend appropriate actions.
Create reports and dashboards to communicate findings and support decision-making processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud detection tools and techniques to enhance operational effectiveness.
Monitor ongoing transactions and activities to detect and mitigate potential fraud risks.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver impactful data analysis.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for fraud analytics and reporting.
Provide training and guidance to team members on fraud analytics best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in fraud analytics, investigation, and prevention strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
Knowledge of fraud detection technologies and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
