We are looking for a “Technical Business Analyst” to fill its long term W2 contract position.

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Tempe, AZ

Duration: 6+ month CTH

Notes:

2-3 days a week onsite in Tempe, AZ.

 

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between AstreaX and external agencies/partners.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications—especially around APIs, data contracts, and integration patterns.
  • Define and document how AstreaX systems must change vs. how partner systems must change to enable seamless integration.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, solution architects, data teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Review, validate, and refine API designs, payloads, mappings, and data flows.
  • Identify integration risks, gaps, and dependencies early and drive resolution.
  • Support rapid, iterative projects with shifting priorities and short timelines.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on complex integrations.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and discuss technical designs with engineering teams.
  • Experience working directly with external vendors or agencies in a technical context.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to “speak engineering” and business fluently.
