Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide missile defense and weapon system expertise to the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Chief Engineer.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide systems integration and interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance regarding the THAAD weapon system supporting International Partners.
  • Assist Chief Engineer with managing the technical aspects of all assigned force design work.
  • Collaborate and coordinate on force design technical efforts with multiple external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Identify deficiencies and shortcomings in planned or ongoing design reviews and provide mitigation options.
  • Document and communicate interim and final technical findings and results in a clear manner that is understandable to senior-level decision makers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • MS degree in STEM and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Technical understanding and experience with missile defense or radar systems.
  • Ability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; exceptional written and verbal skills required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal input and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or THAAD Program Office work efforts.
  • Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, Subcontractor, and Support Contractor personnel.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Prior experience within Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
  • Working knowledge of the THAAD weapon system
  • Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn complex topics readily, and routinely work across organizational boundaries.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
