Job Summary

client is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with 12+ years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core and React, along with solid experience in full-stack application development, REST APIs, database technologies, and modern software development practices.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and taking ownership of application development and production support activities.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core – MUST HAVE.

• Strong hands-on experience with React / React.js – MUST HAVE.

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.

• Experience developing modern web-based enterprise applications.

• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services.

• Experience with Core, MVC, Web API, and related Microsoft technologies.

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

• Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture.

• Experience with Git and source-control practices.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong understanding of application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Federal Government clients or agencies.

• Previous experience with NIH, NIAID, or other HHS-related projects is a plus.

• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

• Experience with automated unit/integration testing frameworks.

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or government application environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, and React.

• Develop scalable and secure REST APIs and backend services.

• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

• Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data-access components using SQL Server.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot application issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.

• Write unit tests and support integration/system testing activities.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support application deployments and production issues as required.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to application design, development, and support.
